Lesson Library
EcoLearn lessons help students explore climate, nature, and community through hands-on activities that turn learning into real action. Each lesson includes a student-friendly slide deck, printable materials, and clear background notes so anyone—teachers, volunteers, or older students—can teach with confidence.
Every lesson is created by high school and college students for younger learners. More than 100 students have contributed research, activities, and teaching ideas, and new topics will continue to be added.
Use the filters to browse by grade level and topic. While designed to align with the grade specific standards of the identified grade, the lessons have been successfully used with both older and younger students, especially the 4th and 5th grade lessons. Please share your feedback at feedback@ecolearn.org.
All EcoLearn lessons are free. If you are able to donate, your support helps students continue creating lessons and leading sustainability projects in their schools and communities. Any amount makes a difference.
